Beyond Thunderdome

No matter where you go, there you are.  Debris crunched under her feet as she stepped out into the light.  Her goggles shielded her eyes from the harsh landscape and swirling sand.  She coughed as her respirator barely filtered the sharp methane fumes in the air.  With a ragged breath she put one foot in front of the other....and didn't look back.
